Thai investor Bee Taechaubol said he reached an agreement in principle to buy a stake in the AC Milan soccer team from former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s Fininvest SpA.

The parties are in talks and control of the seven-time European soccer champion would remain in the hands of Berlusconi and his company under any deal, Fininvest said in a statement on Saturday. Fininvest didn’t say that a preliminary agreement had been reached. Neither side has disclosed the size of the stake under discussion.
