A disruption in Canadian hydropower shipments into New England sent Boston’s price premium over New York to a two-week high.
Hydro exports into New England will be “down ‘till the weekend’’ because the link from Quebec, known as the Phase I/II tie, is out of service, said Natalia Mestvirishvili, a power analyst for Genscape in Boston.
