Harvard Names Former Oil Executive Hollister Financial Head

Harvard University appointed Thomas Hollister, a former oil-industry and banking executive, to be its finance chief as students and alumni decry the college’s investment in fossil fuels.
Hollister, who was head of operations and finances at oil distributor Global Partners LP for seven years, will become Harvard’s vice president for finance and chief financial officer in mid-May, the Cambridge, Massachusetts university said Wednesday.
