Cablevision Offers TV Antennas as Part of Cord Cutter Packages

Cablevision Systems Corp. is seeking to woo the young generation of “cord cutters” by providing access to broadcast networks like CBS on TV sets for free as part of new lower-cost Internet packages.

Cablevision announced two lower-priced Internet packages, including an antenna that lets TV viewers receive broadcast signals for free, according to a statementBloomberg Terminal Thursday. They range from $34.90 to $44.90 a month. Subscribers can add the new HBO Now online service later at additional cost, the company said.
