European Airlines Compete to Release Apps for First Apple Watch

European airlines British Airways and Air France will be among the first companies competing with applications for the Apple Watch when the device is released this week.
British Airways passengers will be able to use their Apple Watch as a boarding pass and to check flight details, the carrier owned by IAG SA said in a statement Wednesday. Users can swipe for more information such as connecting flights and routes, and the weather at their destination.
