Terrorist Plotter Used ‘Vulnerable’ Teen in Plan to Kill Soldier

A U.K. man who plotted a domestic terrorist attack enlisted a young man with mental-health issues to buy bomb-making material, prosecutors said at a London trial.
Kazi Islam used Harry Thomas, who was then 19 and suffered from mental-health difficulties, to buy hydrogen peroxide, fireworks and pipes, the prosecution lawyer, Annabel Darlow, said Monday. Islam, 18, is on trial for plotting to make a bomb to kill a U.K. soldier.
