U.S. Should Consider Arming Ukrainians, Top NATO General Says

The U.S. should consider sending defensive weapons to Ukraine amid signs that last month’s cease-fire is crumbling, Air Force General Philip Breedlove said Sunday in Brussels.

“I do not think that any tool of the U.S. or any other nation’s power should necessarily be off the table,” said Breedlove, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s top military commander. “Could it be destabilizing? The answer is yes. Inaction could also be destabilizing.”
