NFL Ivy League Junior Executives Give Michael Sam Another Chance

Michael Sam is among the players getting another chance at joining a National Football League team thanks to an idea hatched by three Ivy League graduates.
The inaugural Veteran Combine is scheduled for Sunday in Tempe, Arizona, where 100 free agents with dreams of playing in the NFL will gather at the Arizona Cardinals’ training facility. They’ll be tested, timed and evaluated by scouts from all 32 teams, and three of the closest observers will come from inside the league office.
