Australia wants to win contracts from China’s planned development bank, Treasurer Joe Hockey said Friday as the government considers whether to sign up.

“No final decision has been made,” Hockey said in a radio interview, amid reports Cabinet is set to approve investing as much as A$3 billion ($2.3 billion) in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. “There is a lot of merit in it, but we want to make sure there are proper governance procedures.”
