Uber Signs Deal With China Auto Dealer to Offer Discounts

Uber Technologies Inc. signed an agreement with an auto dealer in China to help partners of the ride-hailing company including car rental firms upgrade their fleets at preferential rates.

China Yongda Automobiles Services Holdings Ltd. plans to set aside “hundreds of millions of yuan” in the initial phase to offer discounts and low interest rates to Uber’s partners when they purchase Volkswagen and Audi cars, the two companies said in a joint statement.
