Obama, Tusk Call for U.S.-EU Unity on Russia Sanctions

President Barack Obama and European Council President Donald Tusk called for unity on sanctioning Russia for its actions in Ukraine, even as differences are emerging on how far to go.
“We are all committed to making sure that we uphold the basic principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity that have been threatened by Russian aggression,” Obama said in the Oval Office before meeting with Tusk. “We have been able to maintain strong unity with respect to sanctions.”
