Brianna Wu was bracing for hostility when she went to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this week. Wu, who has advocated for fairer treatment of women in the industry, was surprised when she was welcomed instead.
“I want to tell you about #gdc2015,” Wu said in a Twitter post late on March 4. “The mood was absolutely electric. Tons of women, proud of the work they do, determined to make a change.”
