Royal KPN NV is reviving the sale of its Belgian mobile-phone business amid a wave of consolidation in the telecommunications industry, people with knowledge of the matter said.

KPN, which is working with JPMorgan Chase & Co. on the possible disposal, may seek about 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion) for the unit, known as Base, the people said. The sale could attract bidders including Altice SA and Liberty Global Plc, as well as buyout firms, they said, asking not to be identified because the deliberations are private.
