President Barack Obama’s National Security Adviser Susan Rice said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned address to the U.S. Congress next week will be destructive to the close ties between the two allies.

Rice’s criticism of Netanyahu’s plan to speak to a joint meeting of Congress on March 3, delivered in an interview with Charlie Rose on PBS and Bloomberg Television, was some of the harshest yet heard from the Obama administration.
