Glenn Straub, the Florida developer buying the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for $82 million said he envisions reopening the resort with a focus on life-extension science and education, as well as a little bit of gambling.

Straub, 68, said he uses vitamins and anti-aging treatments to improve his own health, in addition to playing polo every week. He got the idea for revamping the ailing seaside casino after bidding for a former Canyon Ranch spa in Miami Beach last year. He said he hopes to build a similar operation with some of the excess space at Revel.
