Argentina Calls Claims Against President an Attempted ‘Coup’

Allegations that Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner tried to cover up a terrorist attack, and a planned Feb. 18 march to commemorate the death of the prosecutor who accused her, are part of a “judicial coup,” the Cabinet Chief said.
“The Argentine people should know that we’re talking about a vulgar lie, of an enormous media operation, of a strategy of political destabilization and the biggest judicial coup d’etat in the history of Argentina to cover up for the real perpetrators of the crime,” Jorge Capitanich said at his daily press conference.
