London’s housing market weakened at the start of 2015, and there appears little chance of a near-term pickup, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

A price index for the U.K. capital fell to minus 49 in January, the lowest in six years, from minus 36, RICS said in a report on Thursday. A gauge of the outlook for values over the next three months declined to minus 24 from minus 10.
