American Express Co., the biggest U.S. credit-card issuer by customer purchases, fell the most since 2011 after announcing that its relationship with Costco Wholesale Corp. in the U.S. will end.

AmEx tumbled 5.9 percent to $80.95 at 10:54 a.m. in New York, the worst performance in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The shares have slid 13 percent this year, the most in the 30-company Dow.
