Xi Accepts First State Visit to U.S. in September on Obama Call

President Xi Jinping will pay his first formal state visit to the U.S. in September after he accepted an invitation from Barack Obama during a phone call yesterday.
During the conversation, the two leaders agreed to make “full preparations to ensure the success of the trip,” the official Xinhua News Agency said today. The two leaders discussed issues ranging from China’s market reform to thornier topics such as cybersecurity, according to the White House.
