Echo Entertainment Group Ltd., operator of Sydney’s only casino, is taking more bets by high-rollers from China, where a government anti-graft campaign is deterring VIPs from visiting Macau.
Junket operators, which organize gambling holidays for wealthy players, are sending clients on higher-margin overseas trips as gambling revenue in Macau falls, Chief Executive Officer Matt Bekier said in a phone interview yesterday.
