Xiaomi Aims to Start Selling in India on Its Own Website

Xiaomi Corp. will start selling smartphones in India on its own website by the end of this year as the Chinese company expands in its largest overseas market.
Xiaomi is looking for warehousing and logistics partners in India, as well as deciding on a payment mechanism, Manu Jain, head of the India business, said in an interview in New Delhi today. The Beijing-based company will continue selling phones through local partner Flipkart.com, he said.
