Mexico will reveal the names of companies looking to compete with Chevron Corp. and Exxon Mobil Corp. for the chance to produce in that nation, as the appetite for access to its oil fields withstands slumping crude prices.
Several major producers will be added Thursday to the list of companies that have requested access to data on Mexico’s 14 shallow water blocks to be auctioned off this year, according to National Hydrocarbons Commissioner Juan Carlos Zepeda.
