Dacheng Law Offices of Beijing and Dentons, a combination of U.S., U.K., French and Canadian lawyers, agreed to jointly form the world’s biggest law firm with almost 6,600 attorneys.

Partners of both firms have voted to approve the deal, which is pending final approval by Chinese regulators, according to a representative of Dentons. Dacheng spokeswoman Ma Shen declined to comment. The merger was reported earlier by The American Lawyer, a trade magazine.
