Taaleritehdas Oyj, a Finnish investment company, said it’s investing 35 million euros ($41 million) in a wind farm in Alavieska in western Finland.
Work at the site, about 530 kilometers (329 miles) north of Helsinki, will start this week, and electricity production is set to begin during the fourth quarter of this year, the company said in a statement. The new turbines, each providing 3.3 megawatts of power, will be supplied by Vestas Wind Systems A/S of Denmark.
