Ezekiel Elliott ran for 246 yards and four touchdowns as Ohio State University defeated the University of Oregon 42-20 in the inaugural College Football Playoff final.

It’s the eighth national title and first since 2002 for Ohio State, and the third for Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer to go with the two he won with Florida.
