Maduro Travels to China for Financing, Oil Nations for Plan

President Nicolas Maduro said he will leave tonight on a trip to China for financing talks and visit other OPEC member nations to develop an oil price strategy as his government seeks to pull Venezuela from recession.
Maduro, speaking in a nationally televised address this afternoon, said his foreign trip would begin in China where he’ll hold talks on financing and energy matters with President Xi Jinping. Maduro also named Rocco Albisinni to head the Cencoex foreign currency board, replacing Alejandro Fleming.
