Standard & Poor’s raised the outlook on Slovenia’s credit rating to stable from negative, saying the nation’s economy is recovering faster than forecast after a bank rescue by the government a year ago.
S&P left Slovenia’s rating unchanged at A-, the fourth-lowest investment grade, on par with Poland and Malaysia, the ratings company said today. Fitch Ratings has Slovenia at BBB+, its third-lowest level in the investment category, while Moody’s Investors Service rates it Ba1, its highest junk level.
