Slovak police raided the offices of Enel SpA’s local unit for the second time in five months, searching for documents related to the country’s sale of its largest power generator to the Italian utility.
Police yesterday searched the office of Slovenske Elektrarne AS, seizing additional documents after a similar raid in July, Enel’s spokesman, who asked not to be named because of company policy, said by e-mail. Slovenske, in which Enel has a majority and the government a smaller stake, is fully co-operating with the authorities, he said.
