French wheat is losing market share in Algeria as a wet summer that hurt quality spurs the North African country to turn to Germany and Poland for supplies, crop office FranceAgriMer said.
“French wheat faces more and more competition in the Algerian market,” Olivia Le Lamer, head of commodity crops at FranceAgriMer, said at a meeting today in Montreuil-sous-Bois, on the outskirts of Paris.
