A Chinese national charged alongside two Iranian firms with conspiring to export devices that can be used in uranium enrichment agreed to be detained in the U.S. while awaiting trial.
Sihai Cheng, 34, was captured in February at London’s Heathrow Airport when he attempted to enter the country to attend a soccer tournament. At a hearing in Boston federal court today, Cheng said he can’t afford a lawyer.
