IOC President Wants to Change Host City Bidding Process

Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee, wants to change the bidding process for host cities and start an Olympic television channel to boost sports coverage between games.
The proposals are part of Bach’s Olympic Agenda 2020, 40 recommendations to reform the world’s biggest sports event that will be put to a vote in Monaco in December. Bach, a former German fencer, succeeded Belgian Jacques Rogge a year ago as IOC president.
