Israel’s intelligence minister ruled out any withdrawal from the West Bank amid political turmoil across the Middle East.
A pullout would be “ridiculous,” Yuval Steinitz, Israel’s minister of security affairs and intelligence, said yesterday in an interview. “After our extremely negative experience in Gaza, it will be very difficult to take similar risks in the West Bank.”
