Sweden’s new government predicted it will take longer than previously forecast to reach the nation’s 1 percent budget surplus goal.
The economy is unlikely to reach the target until after 2018, the new Social Democratic-led government said today. The previous Conservative-led coalition predicted a 1 percent budget surplus by 2018.
