ContourGlobal Projects Make It Peru’s Biggest Wind Power Owner

ContourGlobal LLC, the company led by a former AES Corp. executive, became the largest generator of wind power in Peru as two of its projects began operating last month.
With a combined installed capacity of 114 megawatts, the Cupisnique and the Talara projects are the largest South American wind farms outside of Brazil, New York-based ContourGlobal said in a statement yesterday.
