Christie Signs Executive Order Creating Pension Study Panel

Governor Chris Christie signed an executive order creating a nonpartisan panel to “think big” about reducing costs for New Jersey pension and health benefits.
The panel, which Christie said he expects to name soon, will have 60 days to make its recommendations, the Republican governor said. An interim report will be issued after a month, he said.
