Village Main Falls After Ending Mine Funding: Johannesburg Mover

Village Main Reef Ltd., a South African gold producer, fell in Johannesburg trading and headed for its lowest close in more than a month after suspending funding for a mine it has operated since June 2012.
Village Main dropped as much as 9.5 percent to 38 South African cents. It was 4.8 percent lower at 40 cents by 12:43 p.m. A close at that level would be the weakest since June 24.
