Comcast, GE Complete Transaction to Create Joint Venture

Comcast Corp. and General Electric Co. have closed the transaction to create a joint venture, NBCUniversal, LLC.
Comcast said in an e-mailed statement today it owns 51 percent of the new company, with the remaining 49 percent owned by GE. The company will be managed by Comcast and maintains its headquarters in New York.
