SAC Capital Hires Anil Stevens to Run Unit Trading Financials

SAC Capital Advisors LP, the hedge-fund firm founded by Steven A. Cohen, hired Anil Stevens from Balyasny Asset Management LP to run a new unit trading financial companies, said two people briefed on the decision.

Stevens, who worked at SAC Capital until 2003, returned last month and will run the division together with Glenn Shapiro, 36, another SAC alumnus who rejoined last month after a stint at Balyasny, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the information is private.
