Russia resumed gas imports from Turkmenistan after an explosion on a pipeline from the Central Asian state and a slump in European demand halted supplies for about nine months.
OAO Gazprom began receiving Turkmen gas at 10:35 a.m. Moscow time today, said a spokesman who declined to be identified citing company policy.
