Continental Resources Inc.’s Harold Hamm asked Oklahoma’s highest court to dismiss his ex-wife’s divorce appeal because she cashed the almost $1 billion alimony check he gave her last week.

Hamm cited a court filing by Sue Ann Arnall, his wife for 26 years, which he said showed his former spouse was “fully aware” that “accepting the benefits” of their divorce decree meant forfeiting her right to appeal it.
