Nike Inc., the Beaverton, Oregon-based producer of athletic shoes, apparel and gear, received a patent on a recyclable golf ball.
According to patent 8,905,861, too often golf balls are discarded when their covers become scuffed or cut, even though the interior is still sound and usable.
