Commonfund Hires JPMorgan’s Catherine Keating as CEO

Commonfund, which oversees $25 billion of assets for nonprofit clients, hired Catherine Keating, head of investment management at JPMorgan Chase & Co., as chief executive officer.
Keating, named one of 25 most powerful women in banking in 2008 by the publication U.S. Banker, will replace Verne Sedlacek as CEO, Commonfund said today in a statement. She will start in February, according to the Wilton, Connecticut-based money manager.
