Lynch Cites New York Police Abuse Case Among Biggest of Career

Loretta E. Lynch, President Barack Obama’s nominee to be the next U.S. Attorney General, cited prosecutions of abusive police officers and corrupt public officials as the most significant of her career.

The disclosures came in Lynch’s answers to a lengthy questionnaire for the Senate Judiciary Committee, which will hold hearings on her nomination. The release of the questionnaire yesterday came as Lynch met with senators of both parties in advance of those hearings.
