Ruble Drops to Record as Oil Slumps After OPEC Output Unchanged

The ruble weakened to a record against the dollar and Russian stocks declined as crude oil slumped to a four-year low after OPEC left production limits unchanged.
The ruble weakened 2.6 percent to an all-time low 48.6550 per dollar by 8:21 p.m. in Moscow. The dollar-denominated RTS stock index slid 2.1 percent to 1,006.43, while Brent crude tumbled 6.5 percent to $72.68 a barrel, the lowest level since August 2010.
