Flights Canceled, Delayed as Soggy Weather Strikes Northeast

Passengers planning to travel for Thanksgiving are facing canceled and delayed flights, packed airports and uncomfortable turbulence as rain and snow move through the U.S. East Coast on one of the year’s busiest travel days.

Airlines had canceled 709 flights within, into or out of the U.S. by 6 p.m. New York time, and another 4,021 were delayed, according to online plane tracker FlightAware.
