Natural Gas Drops a 2nd Day as Cold to Ease Late November

Natural gas futures fell for a second day in New York as forecasts for easing cold weather signaled reduced demand for the heating fuel.
The intensity of the arctic blast dominating states east of the Rocky Mountains will lessen Nov. 21 through Nov. 25, said Commodity Weather Group LLC. Gas had jumped as much as 28 percent from an 11-month low on Oct. 27 on forecasts for a frigid November. Gas rebounded from steeper declines after a government midday weather model turned colder for the 6- to 10-day period.
