Liberty Global Sales Increase as Cable Empire in Europe Expands

Liberty Global Plc, the international cable company controlled by billionaire John Malone, said third-quarter revenue climbed 5.2 percent as more customers signed up for its subscriptions services.

Sales increased to $4.5 billion from a year earlier, the London-based company said in a statement yesterday. Analysts had projected $4.51 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
