Google Inc., creator of the world’s most-used Internet search engine, has led all other applicants in the number of fast-track patents it has acquired, the Washington Post reported.

Since the program began in 2011, the Mountain View, California-based company has received 875 such patents, about 14 percent of the 6,187 total, according to the Post.
