PartnerRe to Fund $100 Million of Mosaic Residential Solar Loans

Mosaic Inc., the operator of an online system that lets individuals invest in solar projects, arranged as much as $100 million in financing from reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. for home rooftop projects.
Under the agreement, an affiliate of Pembroke, Bermuda-based PartnerRe will finance the purchase of loans originated by Mosaic, the solar company said today in a statement.
