Brazil Candidates Cast Doubt on Poll Companies as Vote Nears

Brazilian presidential candidates are casting doubt on the accuracy of some public opinion polls used by the news media to measure voter preferences before the election.
President Dilma Rousseff’s party said it is asking the electoral court to investigate polls conducted by Sensus and Instituto Parana Pesquisas that showed opposition candidate Aecio Neves leading the race ahead of the Oct. 26 runoff. Neves said last week some polling companies owed Brazilians an explanation after failing to call his second-place finish ahead of Marina Silva.
